James Noyes has been the Executive Director of the Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority since 1994 and has over twenty years experience in the housing field. He is one of 50 individuals in the industry that holds an Executive Housing Manager Certificate. Mr. Noyes runs the Housing Authority a bit unconventionally and does not ascribe to the typical bureaucratic stereotype.

Richard A. Vendetti is the Director of Operations for the Authority and has held that position since 1994. Mr. Vendetti has worked at the Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority since 1986 in various capacities. He directs modernization and maintenance programs for the Housing Authority and assists the Executive Director in all levels of management.

Kathy Wade is the Office Director of Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority and has been employed by the Authority since 2000. Ms. Wade holds a Social Worker Assistant license and assists the Executive Director in the day-to-day operations and work flow of the Authority.

The Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority Commissioners are independently appointed by various governmental entities in the County of Ashtabula, in the State of Ohio.

The Authority is fortunate to be able to have a Board that has been made up of long-term Commissioners, some of whom have been on the Board of Commissioners for more than twenty years. The Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority Board of Commissioners sets policy depending upon the ever-changing and sometimes contradictory regulations set forth by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The Board receives no compensation and are genuinely interest in, not only the well-being of the residents of the Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority, but also in our communities and our County.
